New Faculty Position Opening

The Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics  (CEID) of the University of Patras announces the following immediate openings for one new faculty position:  

Faculty duties include teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, research, and supervision of graduate theses. We are looking for exceptional candidates who hold a doctorate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a cognate field and who would be able to fulfill all legal prerequisites for such a Greek university position. It is especially noted that candidates must prove that they have an excellent written and spoken command of Greek, which is the official language of instruction. We are especially interested in candidates whose research and teaching interests are in the areas of Databases, Netcentric Information Systems, Software Engineering, Systems Software, Compilers, Programming Languages and Programming Methodologies.

The closing date for the submission of applications is August 29, 2005.
