IT Intern
Thenamaris invites graduates to apply for the position of IT Intern in the Information Technology department.
The individual will support the team responsible for the IT Systems Infrastructure of the Thenamaris Office and vessels. He / She will mainly be involved in the desktop support, customer service and troubleshooting regarding the company’s supported systems and hardware.
More specifically, the individual should meet the below requirements:
- Studies in Information Systems Management / Computer Science / Computer Engineering or related discipline
- Proficiency in English at a written and oral level
- Excellent customer support skills
- Knowledge of any of the following will be considered an asset: MS Exchange Server, MS Active Directory, Computer Networks, Windows 7 / 10, Internet Administration, Microsoft Windows Server, VPN/RDP, Scripting / Powershell
This short term placement is a great opportunity for candidates with the above characteristics to become exposed to a first-class working environment in the global ship management industry, as well as to be trained and interact with high caliber professionals of the shipping business.
The position is temporary (approximately 6 months) and is based in Athens (Vouliagmeni) Greece.
