·         June 2010 - June 2012: Participation as a member in the European Research Project ALICE (Adaptive Learning via Intuitive/Interactive, Collaborative and Emotional systems), FP7-ICT-2009-5-257639.

 

·         September 2006- September 2009: National coordinator in the European program SOCRATES-COMENIUS-MINERVA: VccSSe – VIRTUAL COMMUNITY COLLABORATING SPACE FOR SCIENCES EDUCATION (2006-2009). Participating countries: Romania, Spain, Poland, Greece and Finland.  This project was presented as one of the best 50 European projects of the past ten years, in a special catalogue dedicated to the Best Practice Examples for Dissemination and Valorization of the Educational Projects.

 

·         2004-2007: Design and implementation of educational software for the learning of mathematical concepts by pupils of 2nd and 3rd grade (Primary level of education). Scientific coordinator. Kastaniotis publishers. Accepted after review by the Greek Ministry of Education and the Greek National Institute of Education.

 

·         1999-2001: Design and development of learning objects (learning scenarios and interactive constructions) using the well known dynamic educational software CABRI-GEOMETRY II and authoring appropriate books for mathematics teachers –in Greek  junior and high secondary schools- for the learning of geometrical concepts. ´Kirki´ project. ·         2004-2007. Establishment of Centers for Teaching Mathematics using Technology (CE.T.MA.T). The aim of CE.T.MA.T was to diffuse knowledge about didactics of Mathematics using Technology in schools teachers and students at Secondary and Primary level of education. The theoretical approach used acknowledges social and constructivist views regarding knowledge construction. To accomplish this aim a number of teaching experiments are designed and realized in real classroom situations. Moreover, specific learning materials are designed and produced and a number of teacher education sessions are carried out. Location: Aitoloakarnania region, Greece (Nafpaktos, Agrinion).
